Hi everyone, long time no see! It really has been a strange year (couple of years?). Hopefully we’re almost through it now and personally, I’m ready to get back to normal.
As much as I’ve enjoyed the long quiet days working in my studio, I’ve missed exhibitions and being able to interact with everyone.
The days, and nights, in the studio have meant I’ve lots of new work to show. There are some old favourite views as well as some exciting new pieces that I’ve been working on.
As there are still very few exhibitions to participate in so I’ve decided to have open house exhibition in my home at 33 Williamstone Court, North Berwick at beginning of November.
The dates of the exhibition are the 5th, 6th & 7th of November so that’s the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The opening hours will be from 10am to 5pm on each day.
In the exhibition I’ll be showing work from the past 18 months; artwork including acrylic canvases, watercolours of local East Lothian scenes. Many works have been inspired from lockdown walks locally and from staycations in the East Neuk of Fife and Wester Ross.
I will also have my new range of digital art, origami cards and other Japanese inspired pieces, resin work and other small gifts.
Everyone is welcome between 10-5pm. I will make sure the environment is as Covid-friendly (compliant) as possible. In this regard I would ask everyone to wear a mask and sanitize before coming in and, of course, please stay away if you have any Covid symptoms or in otherwise think you could be infected.
Look forward to seeing you; no need to book just turn up and come in.
